HOW WILL MY SHORT STORY BE PUBLISHED?
Short stories submitted to Northodox Press will be published on our website through our Misdemeanour platform and shared throughout our social media channels. It's our hope that first-time writers will have a platform to promote their work and introduce them to wider audiences.
CAN I SUBMIT MULTIPLE SHORT STORIES?
Yes, we are open to multiple submissions at the same time. Please offer a short synopsis for each submission.
WHAT KIND OF CONTRACTS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer digital-first contracts, meaning that we publish the ebook ahead of the paperback. No advances are paid to our authors, instead, we pay high ebook royalties on net sales for our short stories.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO PUBLISH A SHORT STORY?
Northodox Press is not a publishing service, we will not ask you to pay any money towards the publication of your short story. All editorial, cover design, sales, and distribution, etc. are provided by the publisher at no cost to the author.
WILL MY SHORT STORY BE PUBLISHED IN EBOOK OR PRINT?
With your consent and pending a contract, we plan to publish each of our short fiction titles as an ebook which you will be able to use for promotion across your social platforms. A print edition will not be provided.
We are primarily a publisher of full-length fiction, so our aim is to promote new authors and work with them on long-form writing for publication with Northodox or elsewhere in the publishing industry.
