SUZY HENDERSON lives in Cumbria, where she writes full-time, often immersed in the 1940s. After gaining a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, she dared to dream and write until, one day, she completed a novel. Since then, she has published two historical fiction novels and a romance. Her latest, Her Darkest Hour, is her first speculative fiction set at the beginning of World War II.

Originally from northern England, Suzy spent ten years in the southwest before settling in Cumbria. Her home, nestled between Hadrian’s Wall and the Lake District fells, provides a stunning backdrop that often influences her writing. In her spare time, she enjoys walking the fells, dreaming by the lakes, and running.
